Hopes & Dreams

We had a special time of devotions with our oldest daughters, in which they shared their hopes and dreams for college, career, and family. Please pray that they would have every opportunity to be all that God has gifted them to be! Top grades and English language skills are vital for each one. In addition, please pray for:

›› Alisha, who is a first-year nursing student. She is learning how to balance the heavy course load (her favorite class is anatomy), and she is really enjoying her college roommate!

›› Dhriti, who has a creative eye and wants to pursue a career in fashion design. Pray for God’s leading in school and career choices for how she can best use her gifts for His glory.

›› Rima, who wants to be an ICU nurse. She has a heart to help malnourished children return to health. Pray that she remains dedicated in her studies so her grades meet the entrance standards.

›› Prina, who will be attending a top English seminary in India starting this June. Ask God to expand her English skills this spring so she will be ready for the rigorous classes ahead. Prina has grown up to be a real leader among her sisters and will be missed when she goes away to college.

›› Valarri, who wants to pursue engineering. She looks forward to sharing God’s love with the people she will work with. She is ready for the challenge!

›› Mya, who wants to pursue a degree in engineering. She has great discipline and passion for learning. Continue to pray for her heart as she lost her mother to AIDS just over a year ago.

›› Neelu, who wants to attend seminary. Pray that she sense God’s leading for her future in ministry. She is passionate to go wherever God leads her!

›› Upala, who has a heart for those battling alcoholism and also for their children (as that is her background). She wants to attend seminary for children’s ministry and share God’s love with people in need.

›› Valini, who wants to be a lawyer and use her gift of compassion to help others. She has chosen a career in law because of her knack for speak truth into difficult situations.

›› Kriti, who wants to be a teacher. She has a soft and tender heart for little ones and wants children to have every opportunity to become all God has gifted them to be. She is a great help at home with the little girls in our care.

›› Ratna, who wants to be an accountant. Ask God to help her study and earn the high marks needed to meet the entrance standards.

Prayer & Praise

We have recently welcomed two more little ones into our family and home! Pray that our caretakers have strength and wisdom during the adjustment period so that our newest daughters quickly become secured with us.

It is crucial that the community in India sees orphans as their own children. Ask God to grant the community a desire to rescue these children and provide lifelong care for them.

Pray for I WILL RUN and the remaining five teams (Dallas, St. Louis, Eugene, Minnesota, and Chicago) of the circuit. Ask God to give them safety in training and that each runner will work hard to meet the $750 fund-raising goal. Please pray for open hearts to give generously to our runners!

Lift up the pastors serving in our Lighthouse Church Network. They have the heavy burden of educating and serving the community in India, equipping the people to overcome the very real threat of predators preying on the innocent children in their midst.
